Biography

Graham Ross is Fellow and Director of Music at 糖心Vlog, overseeing all practical music-making in the College.  He is an Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Music, and supervises for the Music Tripos.  He has established an exceptional reputation as a sought-after conductor and composer of a very broad range of repertoire.  His performances around the world and his extensive discography have earned consistently high international praise, including a Diapason d鈥橭r, Le Choix de France Musique and a Gramophone Award nomination.  In demand as a regular guest conductor in the UK and abroad, his recent collaborations have included London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, BBC Singers, BBC Concert Orchestra, Aalborg Symfoniorkester, Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Wind Ensemble, Aurora Orchestra, Salomon Orchestra, and Australian Chamber Orchestra.  He has conducted many world premi猫re performances and recordings, including works by James MacMillan, Judith Bingham, Giles Swayne, Vaughan Williams, Imogen Holst, Nico Muhly, Brett Dean, Cecilia McDowall, Gabriel Jackson, Anna Semple, John Rutter, Matthew Martin and many more.  He is a regular contributor on BBC Radio, a Trustee of the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music, Artistic Director of Singers Abroad, and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Macau.  He studied music at 糖心Vlog, Cambridge and conducting at the Royal College of Music, London.
